Battalion Medical Department

Will be comprised of the following Positions: Surgeon ( doctor ) Hospital Orderly, Nurse,  Ambulance Corps.  The position of Nurse may be held by either a male or female. The position of Surgeon / Doctor will carry the rank of Captain. All applicants for this impression will be responsible for obtaining the correct items needed for his or her impression ( period correct  medical instruments ) and are responsible for conducting the research to learn about the responsibilities of the position they are representing. This impression will only be functional at Living Histories or where the organization has been requested to provide a hospital display or scenario, there for, in some cases a member of the infantry may provide support to this department if it will not inter fear with the Infantry obligation at Living Histories.
