The Blue Jay Mess

Is open to  Military members of the 1^st Infantry Battalion who want to take the hobby to the next level. Applicants / members will be required to pass a stringent Uniform and Equipment standard. As a rule ALL garments and accouterments must be as authentically constructed as possible, and from select vendors. Members will not be allowed to carry or use any item that is not period correct. The purpose of the “group” is to function as a Living History Unit for public education and to portray a Confederate soldier as accurate as possible.  Any person wishing more information on this aspect of the organization is to direct their inquiry to 1^st Sgt. Arthur Green
